Hi There!

I am Magda de Lange.

I love creating Art inspired by our Loving Creator.

I am inspired to show the beauty of the world created by God. I look at the world in awe, seeing how we as humans create wonderful things, which still seems like nothing compared to God's creation of this world.

I love creating artworks to emphasize the importance of God as our Father and Creator as well as Jesus as our Friend and Saviour.

I feel my best artworks tend to be bigger because combining images that really inspires me on a spiritual level, helps me to create the messages I want to send with my art.

My first artworks

I started creating art since the age of 10. I was bored during
holidays and drew a quick line sketch of William Shatner (T.J. Hooker).
When I showed the sketch to my mother, she immediately recognized him
and started encouraging me to create more art. Since then I started
making sketches and soon I even sold them to school friends.

Education

In the 70's and early 80's, Art was not seen as a viable means of
making a living, so I practiced my art only as a hobby for a very long
time, while having a career in IT.

My Family

After getting married and having a miscarriage, I decided to be a full-time Mother and Homemaker when I became pregnant again. I really created a LOT of art during this time - even selling quite a few, but I wanted to focus on my family, so I still treated art as a hobby.

I am now married and have two lovely children. My son chose a career
in computer science, like his father. My daughter has my love for art
and is now studying 3D animation at The Animation School. 

My Art Career

When my children were still in primary school, I wanted to start
making my art my career. However, I got very sick and was only diagnosed
correctly after a really bad 10 years. Almost fully recovered now, I
want to make my dream of being a full time artist a reality.

I have just completed my Milan Art Mastery program as a very first, bold and important step!
